It is very hot in the rooms even at night with the fans on (super Loud) so it is very hard to cool down and the bathrooms felt dirty.

Really cool place with nice people

Very cool vines, nice staff very friendly and giving super cool advice. You had nice cheap drinks free shots amazing coffee and good food. There were nightly activities and a lot if fun

I had the loft which is only a bed under a roof no door so it was hard to sleep because there id a chicken farm next to it. A bit strange for the room itself but fun so i adapted.

Party hoste on the beach of Nacpan

If you like free drinks, shots and loud music from 19-00.00 then this is the place for you. If you come for peace and quiet it is not. Staff were friendly and food ok. One night was enough for me.

The hostel is too pricey for my opinion and the ongoing construction woke me up early in the morning. The fans in the room are very loud. Hopefully we will see some more hostels on Nacpan beach in the future. I headed north to the calm and relaxed Bucana beach instead as I was looking for relaxation.

Don’t book anywhere else, this is what you have been looking for - trust me.

Every single member of staff were brilliant! Maria especially brings an absolute vibe to the place! The hostel is located an hour from the town and it’s a little slice of heaven! I honestly cannot recommend it enough and would stay again in a heartbeat.

The location is incredible, beachfront! Tours provided are extremely convenient and affordable. Staff always make sure that you're comfortable during tour hopping and will help you with any questions you have. During the stay, we'd like to specifically thank our Host Maria, as she made sure we'd enjoy our vacation.

Even though we stayed in a private room, ac was something that we really missed, even if that meant paying more for our stay. For a more extensive stay, we would have appreciated a bit more of the menu variety. But our biggest struggle was satellite connection and wifi, as we're far from our family it was really a hard time finding a spot where we could make a quick call to our loved ones.

If you're looking for a place to socialise and party or enjoy some drinks on a stunning beach at sunset, then this is the place for you. The atmosphere is great and the hosts will go above and beyond to ensure you have the best time possible. Shout out to the hosts Maria, Dash, MJ and Bryan!

The lack of air-conditioning can cause the rooms to get a little stuffy, and the distance from town can be a little tricky to manage. But these are minor inconveniences that definitely won't detract from your overall experience.

I had an amazing time, met some great people and would definitely stay in a mad monkey hostel again.

The whole atmosphere was amazing, it was so easy to make friends and the staff were great.

The wifi was really poor which is to be expected however wasn’t disclosed before hand. Also the hostel was cash only which I didn’t know and therefore wasn’t prepared.

Mad Monkey is mad. ️

Mad Monkey has social events at night plus they give complimentary drinks. The hourly free shots are a plus. The staff are nice and welcoming.

Nacpan beach is a bucket list beach and the hostel is right on the beach. There are bean bags on the beach. Amazing and the best Mad Monkey I stayed at.

It's almost impossible to get to the property. Luckily, my tricycle driver carried my luggage on the way there and the hostel security carried it when I left. I would not have been physically able to carry it myself as the hostel is far away from a road and you're walking along the beach with your luggage. The food is very very expensive and the portions are tiny. You almost have to order 2 mains to get full. The food preparation is slow. I waited an hour for musli with yoghurt.

great place to meet people and explore

without doubt the people. if you’re planning to do a Solo trip in El Nido, Palawan, this is the place to stay. the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. they organise activities and island hopping tours during the day while throwing parties at night. they make sure everyone feels comfortable and create an environment where everyone is included. lots of information and recommendations. get to talk to everyone and get the bearings of the islands from people who have experienced before you. facilities are good value for money. rooms are decent and toilets are clean.

WiFi connection is poor. Fixing that would massively improve the customer experience.

Great location directly at the beach Fun parties and lots of free drinks Music is turned off at midnight and in our room we didnt even hear the music so it was also possible to have a quite night if wanted For a party hostel really clean

Food wasnt good and expensive but you dont have to eat there. There is a lovely place right next to it whit good and cheap food run by a local family.. Also down the beach is an amazing pizza place.
